Benzi has been Djing 19 years, starting off in the UK garage scene but was always drawn to a 4x4 and US style of Garage that led him to a natural progression moving him into House music, and very quickly falling in love. After Entered a DJ mix competition with a local Brighton radio station Codesouth.fm that he won, he gained a weekly Saturday show with them that he has upheld since. Playing any style within the house music genre, and playing tracks from old to new, always priding himself on finding forgotten, or playing unknown tracks, never buying into ''fads'' or wanting to sound ''mainstream'' within his sets. This style this has led him to get noticed also gain residencies with ''This is_'' events, and ''The Syndicate Party'' playing in some of the biggest nights across Brighton and on the South coast. Always wanting to sound different and take risks with music live, keeping his roots in garage with his chunky rubbery basslines and heavy house beats that he uses in his sets, has found it has pays off when wanting to sound different, always calling himself a ''Raver before a DJ...'' and maintaining that connection with crowds before, during and after his sets is very important to him, ''its all about the music and crowd connection and nothing else...''
