AFR is a Brighton based DJ and Producer. Starting out from a young age he enjoyed producing electronic music in secondary school where his music classes encouraged students to use more computer based means of creating music. He also played the drums at this time, and many times played in performances at school.
After leaving school and collage, AFR learned how to DJ and within about a year he’d pick up the knack for it and acquired himself a fortnightly slot on Rough Tempo. ‘Being with Rough Tempo opened lots of doors for me. Not only being able to regularly showcase myself to a large audience, but also connect with like minded people who have helped me get to where I am today’.
AFR has played for the likes of Breakin Science, Rough Tempo, Bar:rage, Roll The Dice, Evolution, DV8 BassFace plus loads more. He also holds a monthly residency on CodeSouth FM.
More recently in 2020 AFR started his label Distorted Records UK. For the last couple of years he has been pushing the brand non stop and now in 2024 with multiple events behind them and a massive online catalog of music he is setting sights on the future with big plans for the brand.
‘Distorted is a massive part of my life. From bringing a load of almost complete strangers together during the covid lockdowns of 2020 to livestream from the Distorted Facebook page. To now releasing quality music and putting on our own events around the UK. It’s truly a dream come true for me and we will continue to keep on doing this for as long as possible. I wouldn’t want to give this up for anything.’

COACTION are a duo comprised of brothers Asbo & Cody, formed 2023. Based out of Brighton, they play the full spectrum of drum & bass / jungle. They head Liquid Laines Events and frequently organise raves around Brighton. Asbo has an extensive background in the free party scene & is a co-owner of a booming sound system. He has been mixing for 25 years & loves nothing more than throwing down a banging set on vinyl. Cody has been obsessed with music for as long as he can remember and loves building his music library and finding new tastes. Expect to hear a variety of sonic pleasures from this budding selector. L-Motive has been producing and DJing drum and bass since the age of 15. He has always experimented with various styles within the genre when producing ,but predominately mixes Jump up & the heavier styles! With releases across multiple record labels including Phuzion digital and DS2B he continues to improve and experiment within his production.
