The House of Roy is house DJ duo from Brighton, UK, where deep grooves meet disco-tinged warmth on dance floors ranging from seaside bars to underground clubs. United by a shared namesake and a love of music that moves both body and soul, Roy Williamson (aka soulcadelic) and Roy Gilfilian combine their individual DJ voices into a singular, emotive groove experience that resonates with dancers and listeners alike.
As soulcadelic, Roy Williamson is a DJ, bass player, writer, and producer recognised for his vibrant musical blend, specialising in soulful, Afro, and deep house. His selections reflect a curatorial vision rooted in warmth, musicality, and movement, celebrating the timeless, joyful essence of dance music while maintaining a deep respect for its underground heritage.
Roy Gilfilian brings his own nuanced sensibilities to the booth, drawing from a deep love of classic soul and disco-inspired rhythms. His groove-driven selections layer subtle textures and rich musical detail, always with an ear towards vocals, atmosphere, and the vital connection between DJ and dance floor.
Two DJs locked into one flow, The House of Roy guide the room through extended journeys of deep house, smooth disco, and soulful house. Their sets are immersive and celebratory, a shared musical conversation that balances sophistication with feeling. Two Souls. One House.
