Multi genre DJ, but my preference is Trance (Classic, Uplifting, Melodic, Hard and Euphoric) i often start my shows with House (Soulful, Funky, Disco and Classic) and take you on a musical journey, which crosses over to Trance in second hour of my broadcast. I have also played out Techno, Progressive House, and Tech House.
My codesouth.fm show is every Sunday 8-10pm, called Sessions That Leave Impressions……..the show that has more bounce than Tigerr on a nitrous oxide pogo stick! Started DJing in May 2021 and in my first year playing out I have been the headline artist for an All Tranced Out event in Swansea, as well making my debut for the brand CREAM, and i also got the international opportunities of two events in both San Francisco and Ibiza.
As at June 2023 i have had 20 no1 mixes in the Global Hard Trance Chart, as well as 16 no2’s and 11 no3’s. In 2023 i joined forces with Brendan Cane, a talented DJ know as Cano B to promote events under Addictive Beats brand (which he founded for predominently House events) and from that we now have also organise Trance events under the brand Trance Addiction.

Dj Vy was born and raised in Coventry, grew up listening to RnB, Hip-Hop, Reggae, then discovered a love for House & Garage aged 13, and the rest is history. Once he had his first mix it was simply, Todd Edwards, Victor Simonelli, Grant Nelson, Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown, Danny J Lewis, MJ Cole, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, just to name a few, “I think you can see the pattern here”. Vy has over 25 years experience playing in various clubs, bars in the midlands, and being a resident on various different pirate radio stations up and down the country. Fast forward to 2023 after taking a number of years out I’m currently a resident for the House Party events, and after playing on various online radio shows I’m happy to be joining the CodeSouth family for a bi-weekly show dropping pure Deep House, Garage House, Soulful House vibes.
Coming from not-so-drury lane, I mix a wide variety of genres depending on the mood of the day. I’m very accustomed to House music, but you will find me spinning out Garage/DnB/Techno/Hip Hop and other bits inbetween! Whatever makes those ears wiggle!
