Rob Holme started playing in Brighton around 9 years ago playing a wide range of house music genres over the years from deep house, house, jackin’ house, tech & techno with a passion for nu disco, disco and electro swing. He is part of a trio forming the ‘Elements of Groove’ (tech & techno) putting on events in the city, as well as a resident for Tech Noir (Brighton run by Nick Hook & Danny Chase). He has been a regular on the radio airwaves, heavily involved with Trickstar Radio for around 3 and a half years.
Rob was co-hosting the Elements of Groove Radio show every Friday night from 8pm for 3 and a half years, whilst also hosting his own show playing electro-swing and jackin’ house. He was also a key partner for around 5 years in the globally syndicated radio show Global Dance Session, having some of the biggest names in the dance music industry on the show, as well as featuring on the show himself in over 30 countries on FM/1000+ stations (a return of GDS). Since July 2019, he has been mixing on Codesouth Radio.

Dj Vy was born and raised in Coventry, grew up listening to RnB, Hip-Hop, Reggae, then discovered a love for House & Garage aged 13, and the rest is history. Once he had his first mix it was simply, Todd Edwards, Victor Simonelli, Grant Nelson, Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown, Danny J Lewis, MJ Cole, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, just to name a few, “I think you can see the pattern here”. Vy has over 25 years experience playing in various clubs, bars in the midlands, and being a resident on various different pirate radio stations up and down the country. Fast forward to 2023 after taking a number of years out I’m currently a resident for the House Party events, and after playing on various online radio shows I’m happy to be joining the CodeSouth family for a bi-weekly show dropping pure Deep House, Garage House, Soulful House vibes.
Coming from not-so-drury lane, I mix a wide variety of genres depending on the mood of the day. I’m very accustomed to House music, but you will find me spinning out Garage/DnB/Techno/Hip Hop and other bits inbetween! Whatever makes those ears wiggle!
