CodeSouth.FM Tech House Artists
Phil played guitar and electronic percussion in live rock bands before realising that after learning to play instruments, DJing shouldn’t present any problems….and it hasn’t. After twenty years or so rocking stages across Europe in bands, AND DJing, he submerged himself in digital engineering and production. He soon released many collaborations with Ali Wilson on Ali’s own label Tekelec, as well as on Tidy Trax, Recoverworld, and Flashover. Phil’s own productions and remixes have been released on, and with some pending on Hautboxx Records, Vesta Records, Prognosis and Oxytech. He’s still also rocking hard as the bassist in punk rock band Desperate Measures.

He has been a regular on the radio airwaves, heavily involved with Trickstar Radio for around 3 and a half years. Rob was co-hosting the Elements of Groove Radio show every Friday night from 8pm for 3 and a half years, whilst also hosting his own show playing electro-swing and jackin’ house. He was also a key partner for around 5 years in the globally syndicated radio show Global Dance Session, having some of the biggest names in the dance music industry on the […]
Nick T has been DJ-ing since the age of 13, and started being paid to do it the day after his 15th birthday. He considers himself extremely fortunate to have been involved with music and clubs his whole adult life – from DJ-ing to handling PR & promotions for major artists, from playing small bars and restaurants to playing huge and iconic venues, from running sound and light to promoting successful events – and occasionally having a hit record on the way. As much at home playing a chilled sub 120 beach set as he is playing in a cocktail bar or banging out twisted funk at a major event, Nick’s music tastes are as widespread as his experience. He is constantly looking for new music in a wide range of styles, and is excited as much by a new Lila Downs or Music For Dreams album as he is by the latest from Hotmood, Chewy Rubs, or Louie Vega.
