Paul Hilditch

A staple of Brighton’s underground scene

With over two decades behind the decks, Paul Hilditch has carved out his place as a key figure in Brighton’s underground house scene. What began with a pair of decks at Christmas evolved into a lifelong mission: delivering feel-good, groove-driven house music that moves dancefloors and connects people. Known for his infectious blend of funky, jackin’, disco-infused and tech-influenced house, Paul has supported and shared line-ups with some of the scene’s most respected names, including Grant Nelson, Angelo Ferreri, Earth N Days, Bushwacka!, Danny Rampling, Jess Bays, Prok & Fitch, Dolly Rockers (Odyssey Inc), Hoxton Whores, Steve Mac (Rhythm Masters), Enzo Siffredi and Seamus Haji. He has warmed up for both Bushwacka! and Angelo Ferreri, while a standout moment came at a D3EP Radio event in Cambridge where he took over directly from Grant Nelson — a milestone that further cemented his reputation for reliability, groove and professionalism behind the decks. From his early residency at Brighton’s iconic pre-club bar […]

Nick’s dynamic and uplifting style of electronic music has seen him play at iconic venues including Gatecrasher in Sheffield, Ministry of Sound in London, and Space in Ibiza. Over the years, he’s also had the privilege of sharing the decks with legends such as Seamus Haji, Norman Jay, and Carl Cox. Today, whether through his residency on Codesouth Radio or performing at clubs, bars, and festivals, Nick continues to curate immersive musical journeys that keep his audiences engaged, energised, and dancing.

Fray Bentos hails from the Midlands, where he first cut his teeth in the early ’90s, blagging sets on the free party scene. Later moving to Brixton, South London, he ran his own night, Deep Fried, at the legendary Dogstar for 15 years, sharing the decks with icons such as Swayzak, Inland Knights, Bent, DiY, and Neon Heights.

As his musical journey evolved, so did his style—shifting from deep house to an eclectic mix of funk, soul, hip-hop, funky breaks, and disco… LOTS of disco! His passion for edits and grooves has seen releases on respected labels including Katakana Edits, Tropical Disco, Spaindisco, Hot Digits, Hot Gorilla, Alpaca Edits, and Discoholics Anonymous. Fray was also a co-resident with Brighton’s infamous Soul Casserole crew for a decade, supporting legends like Norman Jay, Craig Charles, Don Letts, Gilles Peterson, Crazy P, and The Reflex.

In the late 90s Slikmix was gifted a pair of Citronix turntables and transformed his parents garage into a studio. Starting out with a 6 pack of house vinyl and some random jungle tracks, Slikmix practised the art of beat matching over and over again. Leading into the early 2000’s Slikmix got his debut on the airwaves alongside DJ Merge, securing a regular slot on one of the biggest radio stations in Essex, it was from this long serving residency that Slikmix managed to fine tune his sound and performance. With regular trips to London record shops, Slikmix was able to network with the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, Cameo, Dizzy Rascal and more! By the mid 00’s Slikmix was well established alongside Merge with residencies across Essex, London & Kent. Slikmix went on to run a music project alongside some of the Pioneers in the music scene such as Ellis Dee & Kenny Ken. Fast forwarding into the digital era, […]

Nick T has been DJing for far longer than is probably healthy, but doesn’t intend to stop any time soon… He currently hosts the Monday morning show on CodeSouth.FM and has been / is a resident DJ in landmark hotels, bars and events in Brighton and London, playing events as varied as SoulShyne, Sassy Cabaret, March Of The Mermaids, much loved “festival in a club” Rumpus, Spank, and the legendary Torture Garden. Musically he plays a wide variety of styles, from Soulful, Funky, Afro/Latin/Brazilian and Deep House to Disco (classic and new), and from Jackin to Tech House with the occasional foray into classic hip-hop, glitch and party breaks, plus harder dance and Techno – the latter mostly at Brighton’s “Spank” parties. Nick loves playing long, all night sets, but is happy playing at any time, and particularly relishes the opportunity to play all day beachside and rooftop sessions whenever the sun decides to come out. He’s also been involved […]
