Dj Vy was born and raised in Coventry, grew up listening to RnB, Hip-Hop, Reggae, then discovered a love for House & Garage aged 13, and the rest is history. Once he had his first mix it was simply, Todd Edwards, Victor Simonelli, Grant Nelson, Karl “Tuff Enuff” Brown, Danny J Lewis, MJ Cole, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, just to name a few, “I think you can see the pattern here”. Vy has over 25 years experience playing in various clubs, bars in the midlands, and being a resident on various different pirate radio stations up and down the country. Fast forward to 2023 after taking a number of years out I’m currently a resident for the House Party events, and after playing on various online radio shows I’m happy to be joining the CodeSouth family for a bi-weekly show dropping pure Deep House, Garage House, Soulful House vibes.
Coming from not-so-drury lane, I mix a wide variety of genres depending on the mood of the day. I’m very accustomed to House music, but you will find me spinning out Garage/DnB/Techno/Hip Hop and other bits inbetween! Whatever makes those ears wiggle!

An East London born & bred DJ, came up in the game with influences from the Junglist, drum & bass scene. As a radio DJ in the later years off life joined the online radio community playing soulful house, afro beats alongside House & Garage with UNITY, Peace & Love being the focal message.
Butu was raised on 90’s rave EDM and has loved music of all genres ever since, influenced heavily by the likes of Dillinja, LTJ Bukem, and Fabio & Grooverider. He started his DJ journey on modern DnB and discovered a passion for mixing anything Amen Break related, ranging from UKG, Breaks, Jungle and of course DnB.
Alejandro Lopez a.k.a AndroAle started to play when he was 15 back in Malaga, his hometown. After being a resident Dj there, he decided to expand his limits and came to live to England where he’s been playing in several cities as Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Brighton eventually. On August 2022, he found a home at the Codesouth Radio Station where he mainly plays Tech-house but his musical taste and experience gives him the ability to play lots of different genres.

Having founded Random Audio Sound system, Rotary Dj took himself to the decks and has been mixing since 2019. Now touring with the Sound System, he has picked up DJ bookings on the way. Rotary has now found a home behind the decks at Codesouth.FM back in November 2022. Calling all the late night raver’s! Taking inspiration from a diverse selection of DJs, from EZ and Nasty Crew’s Mak 10, through to Jaguar Skills, Jazzy Jeff and Diplo, Shiftz has been playing garage, grime and 140 bass in clubs around the UK and internationally for the past 15 years. His unique style of 3 deck mixing and live edits has seen him play guest spots on Kiss FM and BBC 1Xtra, as well as supporting artists such as Diplo, D Double E, Todd Edwards, Sir Spyro, hip hop legend Just Blaze, and many more. With several productions signed to the fast rising Step 2 Recordings, Shiftz is one to watch.
Free party style dj originally from South London. Wouldn’t really say or shall I say pidgon hole myself as a certain genre dj as I cover across the board. Mostly playing on vinyl but cover all formats. Been a codesouth dj for many years. You’d have seen me playing around Brighton sometime years ago but I’ve quietened down recently to concentrate on my family life. Had a good 7 years run of a night called soundclash at the volks in which I uses to house free party soundsystems to provide the sound for a added kick to the night
Shnucklz is a music lover who grew up listening to reggae (mum), his first memories are of the jungle scene, being from London, he was heavily influenced by the people he grew up with and started to like the music that ‘the older lot’ were listening to in the youth clubs. His favourite stations at the time were ‘Kool FM’ and ‘Freak FM’ and he has a massive soft spot for ‘old skool jungle’ that will never leave. For him, it was the music that started everything off. He became engrossed in the garage music at the time and started collecting records, even before he got decks! Shnucklz visited many well-known record shops with his mum, including places such as ‘Uptown Records, ‘Blackmarket Records’ and a no longer existing ‘Release the Groove’. Schnucklz is derived from the word knuckles, but simply with a ‘Shh’ in front of it and a creative change in the spelling.
