The members of the 'Fusion Collective' are a group of talented students hailing from Brighton's esteemed 'WaterBear College of Music'. Among them is the exceptional DJ/Producer Bloodl3tter, known as the Dubstep Princess for her outstanding performances. Additionally, there is the International Man of Mystery and passionate live set enthusiast Tab Beatz, who is often seen wearing a welding mask during his sets. Rounding out the group is Masc DJ, a seasoned House and techno DJ with 20 years of experience and a love for masks, who is well-known for his electrifying Saturday night radio shows.
DJing on and off since 1990, gOA rOD t began their journey in Goa, India, playing original techno at outdoor raves, often performing solo sets for up to 12 hours. Starting at midnight with heavy techno and gradually shifting to more melodic sounds around 5 a.m. as the sun rose, these events would wrap up around 10 a.m., creating unforgettable experiences. Over the years, gOA rOD t has played in clubs across London and at international venues, as well as appearing on pirate radio stations, including Touchdown Radio London. In 2004, gOA rOD t moved to Brighton and joined Upfrontdance.net around 2011. When the station rebranded as CodeSouth.fm, they continued until 2015. After spending time abroad, gOA rOD t returned in 2019 and began playing on the newly formed Upfrontdance.com in 2024. Today, gOA rOD t blends original techno from 1989–1993 with modern techno, ethnic influences, and Afro house, creating a unique and dynamic sound.
Hard Hush began in Brighton under the name of Hush originally, it encompassed a multi dance music genre, including Progressive House, Trance and Techno. After going back to a Tidy Weekender in 2013 and then hosting a unofficial pre party for the last time the Tidy Boys played in Hove, the Hush promoters Tache BK and partner had their passion for Hard House reinvigorated. This has then led to Hard Hush doing a number of Hard House events in Brighton at venues such as Volks, Zahara (Dust) and plenty of other bars/clubs. Hard Hush prides itself on being an all inclusive brand, we don’t care what your background is, where you come from, what you wear, everyone is welcome, we always have a massively welcoming and friendly vibe and always want people to just come and stomp on a dancefloor with us. Ian B is a veteran club goer in the 1980's and vinyl collector since the 1970's, lover of all things funk, soul, boogie, disco, jazz, jazz funk, hip hop, brazilian, neo soul, nu jazz, and anything that falls in the cracks between those genres in a left field kind of way. The Sunday Service show will bring you tunes from yesterday and today to chill out to, get funky with, or get your dancing shoes on.
Jay Hill is a Brighton-based DJ with a passion for underground sounds, blending acid, breaks, tech, and techno into distinctive, groove-driven sets. Known for his deep connection to the local scene, Jay brings an authentic energy to every performance.
Brighton resident Jeni Kiss, aka Jenny Hipkiss, is currently hosting her own prime time Codesouth radio show @4pm every last Saturday of the month. After 5 years of presenting on this radio station, Jeni has developed a show focussed around new house releases. Jeni has been seen DJing at various clubs in Brighton & Social Chill Bar, Maidstone. Bookings have included at I360 for Brighton Music Conference, and a regular on the i360 Summer Terrace parties. Jeni has also been seen DJing at The Tempest, for Kings of Tomorrow, Cream (Sandy Riviera) and Do Not Sleep at The Arch Club Brighton. Jeni has also appeared on the DJ line up for Brighton based Tech Noir, either getting the dance floor started up or delivering a keen tech closing set!
Having been a name in the Brighton Music scene for the last 5 years, they are Re reloaded and ready to go. Finding their niche in the punchy tech house arena Joey has played for some of the biggest brands in Brighton. Joey has been a regular feature on line ups for Mojo Mojo, Elemental, Tech Noir and Dance For Peace. Always bringing an energy flooded sound to keep the dance floor pumping. Having curated Min:Animal, Music Pawn and Disco Bits… this next year promises to be Electric! They stand for accessibility in music and champions early access to music for all. Joey also heads up the events for Yorokobi Records… with their partner in crime Charmian Love.
