Stan Boogie is a Big Disco junkie, working his way into the disco scene with his big mixes and Rewerked Edits and original productions. Brighton born and bred Mr Boogie loves old and new disco records, always on the look for new bit for his weekly show . The show brings new and old school together with a bunch of different styles and genres ranging from soul to 4×4 house style beats. Boogie starts out his show with soul and jazz vibes as the show progresses so does the tempo. Bringing the grooves up a notch to funky, disco and house belters to keep you grooving through your day.

My passion for House music started off 88/89 listening to Hip pop. I then moved into House music, following the likes of Paul Oakenfold. I started playing vinyl from 95/96 playing hard house tunes then moved onto trance, house and funky house. These days since 2014 I’m more into Deep house, Afro house vibes, organic House infused with Melodic and progressive House. Back in the 00s I was playing vinyl on the London boat parties then my own local events with a good friend of mine, then moved to the coast, where there I’ve found a chilled vibe playing deep house, organic house and soulful house. I’ve played alongside some great DJs: Terry Farley, Judge Jules, Secondcity, George Meddles, Tim Cullen, and most recently Brandon Block and Lisa Loud. I also run my own events called ARTEMIX here on the South East coast.

Tracer

your ultimate bass architect

From humble beginnings as a bedroom DJ, Tracer has worked his way up to becoming one of Brighton’s hottest Drum & Bass sensations. With his unique blend of “pots and pans in a washing machine doing a light spin cycle,” Tracer’s sets are a musical experience like no other. While his sets are often described by music connoisseurs and drum & bass heads as “pretty good” or “my face is melting,” he also gets told to f*** off quite a lot. But that doesn’t stop him from bringing the heat every week on Codesouth. Tracer’s passion for DJing was ignited back in 2012 at Vevo UK’s Summer Six on Brighton pier, where he saw Sub Focus, Benga & Chiddy Bang tear up the stage. Since then, he’s been on […]
