I first started DJing in the early 90’s after working for a local independent record label; under Mistress Deviant. I graced the decks at legendary West London clubs such as Club UK, Subterannia, and The Milk Bar. Later in 90’s I switched to the London gay clubbing scene & graced the decks at Kitty Lips, Pumpin’ Curls, Clit Club, FIST & SKIN2 all under the DJ monica of Mistress Deviant. As I was also working for a record label – this eventually led to me hopping over the pond to the East Coast of the USA for 2 years. At this point I stepped away from the decks but continued my career in the music business for an independent record distributor. After returning to Blightly I moved from West London to Brighton in the early 2000’s & became a regular resident at the experimental techno night BEEP; & Sunday club – The Living Room; now DJing under BN1BOI. While his sets are often described by music connoisseurs and drum & bass heads as “pretty good” or “my face is melting,” he also gets told to f*** off quite a lot. But that doesn’t stop him from bringing the heat every week on Codesouth. Tracer’s passion for DJing was ignited back in 2012 at Vevo UK’s Summer Six on Brighton pier, where he saw Sub Focus, Benga & Chiddy Bang tear up the stage. Since then, he’s been on […]
