Maxi McGoo has been a DJ since 1992 and a continual purveyor of underground sounds at clubs, parties and on the airwaves. Founder of ‘Fluid’ and ‘Just 4 U Crew’ in Reading, UK. Promoting, MC’ing and Dj’ing the infamous weekly club nights at Cumbers Bar from 1997. Picking up in Brighton around 2004 to bring various parties alongside stalwart local sound system crews and then Spin 33. In alliance with Lee On C in 2011, Missing Cat Club was born featuring regular events involving fellow members General Panic, Frank Roots + special guest acts. In 2013, M.C.C. radio Sunday morning residency on Codesouth FM kicked off and host of ‘Fluid Sounds’ Jungle drum and bass showcase each 4th Monday 10pm-midnight. Sam Anglo Open Format Dj & Producer Born in a small Sussex village to a Hippy parent in 1980, gave me a unique start in life, to say the least. Times were hard at some points, but the music was always booming out of the hazy smoked-filled lounge. The people were always interesting, along with spending a week in the summer holidays at Glastonbury Festival every year all added to the eclectic mix of culture, sounds, and freedom to grow and develop my character. There was always vinyl on the record player at home and I was taught at a young age the importance of looking after your sound and respecting the art that went into the process and the artwork that enveloped it to protect the precious music inside. Holding down residence in underground clubs in Brixton London, he’s performed around the world in some of the finest locations. Now based in Brighton & Hove he has a residency for the Ivy Asia group and is a resident DJ for Summertime Live festivals.
