Free party style dj originally from South London. Wouldn’t really say or shall I say pidgon hole myself as a certain genre dj as I cover across the board. Mostly playing on vinyl but cover all formats. Been a codesouth dj for many years. You’d have seen me playing around Brighton sometime years ago but I’ve quietened down recently to concentrate on my family life. Had a good 7 years run of a night called soundclash at the volks in which I uses to house free party soundsystems to provide the sound for a added kick to the night

Tracer

your ultimate bass architect

Are you ready to witness the pure fire of Codesouth DNB? Then prepare yourself for the one and only Tracer, the man who’s been spinning the wheels of steel since 2012! From humble beginnings as a bedroom DJ, Tracer has worked his way up to becoming one of Brighton’s hottest Drum & Bass sensations. With his unique blend of “pots and pans in a washing machine doing a light spin cycle,” Tracer’s sets are a musical experience like no other. While his sets are often described by music connoisseurs and drum & bass heads as “pretty good” or “my face is melting,” he also gets told to f*** off quite a lot. But that doesn’t stop him from bringing the heat every week on Codesouth. Tracer’s passion for DJing was ignited back in 2012 at Vevo UK’s Summer Six on Brighton pier, where he saw Sub Focus, Benga & Chiddy Bang tear up the stage. Since then, he’s been on […]

Alex started DJing in the late 90’s and has been playing on and off ever since, during lockdown he really got back into mixing again and started at Codesouth in December 2021. Alex plays all forms of house music but likes anything with energy and a good beat.

Nick T has been DJ-ing since the age of 13, and started being paid to do it the day after his 15th birthday. He considers himself extremely fortunate to have been involved with music and clubs his whole adult life – from DJ-ing to handling PR & promotions for major artists, from playing small bars and restaurants to playing huge and iconic venues, from running sound and light to promoting successful events – and occasionally having a hit record on the way. As much at home playing a chilled sub 120 beach set as he is playing in a cocktail bar or banging out twisted funk at a major event, Nick’s music tastes are as widespread as his experience. He is constantly looking for new music in a wide range of styles, and is excited as much by a new Lila Downs or Music For Dreams album as he is by the latest from Hotmood, Chewy Rubs, or Louie Vega. Taking inspiration from the melodies of liquid drum and bass, the harmonies from soul, grooves from the jungle and the raw grit of the neuro sound. Sets are packed full of colour and guaranteed to make you move.
